A stint in Hollywood left him a film-making flop, but now he's back home on
his parent's couch hoping to bring a little movie magic to small town
Pennsylvania.
Gordy Crbinak has always kept a daily video journal of his life. Now,
in a final quest for art, Gordy straps on his shoulder-cam, capturing
the real life stories and images of the residents of his sleepy town. With the help of his friend, Gordy begins to stream his footage live onto his own Internet web site.
While Gordy struggles to create a film industry in Holly Ridge, his home page
gains popularity world-wide. Surfers find themselves mesmerized by the lives
of, even falling in love with, the quirky locals.
Fans begin pouring into Holly Ridge by the bus full, and Gordy finds himself
the target of local money grubbers hoping to cash in on his now lucrative web
adventure.
Now the town's in upheaval, and Gordy's 'reality' is no longer real at all,
but his struggle for the higher arts certainly is?
